The well known internet encyclopedia Wikipedia raised $20 million dollars in donations in 2011. The donations from over 1 million people will help expand and improve the site. HBO has stopped providing DVDs of its popular TV shows to Netflix, likely due to increased competition between the companies. Even without HBO’s direct supply, Netflix plans to continue to provide HBO content through other venues.
