SUV crashes into downtown Syracuse office building

SYRACUSE -- Two vehicles were involved in a car crash at the corner of South Townsend Street and East Fayette Street in downtown Syracuse Monday morning.

Syracuse Police Sgt. Gary Bulinski says a 2009 Toyota SUV struck the corner of the building at the 501 East Fayette entrance.

Bulinski says the vehiche was driving north on S. Townsend when it was was struck by a 2010 Toyota SUV which was making a left onto East Fayette.

The crash caused the 2009 Toyota to hit the building.

Bulinski says one ticket was issued to 68-year-old Jean Damiana of Richfield Springs for failure to yield. She was the driver of the 2010 Toyota.

No injuries were reported and the building is structurally sound.
