WATERVILLE, ONEIDA CO. -- Two teenagers are accused of going on a crime spree in Waterville.
Oneida County Sheriff's deputies arrested 18-year-old Michael Simpson, of Sangerfield, and 19-year-old Michael Frazier, of Waterville. The arrests stem from an investigation into several thefts and damage reports over the last few weeks at the School House Apartment Building on Stafford Avenue.
Over the past few weeks, deputies received complaints of lights, windows and walls both inside and outside the building being damaged by BB guns. Several bicycles were also recently stolen from the basement. The bikes were later recovered and returned to their owners.
Simpson and Frazier are charged with burglary and criminal mischief, both felonies. They were arraigned in the Village of New York Mills Court and sent to Oneida County Correctional on $20,000 bail.
Additional charges are pending.
