SYRACUSE -- Syracuse police are investigating a hit and run crash that left a woman hurt.

It happened around 9:15 a.m. Wednesday along the 2500 block of James Street in Eastwood.

Police say a man was at Wilson Farms when he pulled out onto James Street near Marlborough Road, slamming into a woman's car. Police say he then took off without stopping.

The 26-year-old woman was taken to the hospital for treatment. She reportedly complained of knee pain and was taken to Upstate University Hospital as a precaution. The left front end of her car was smashed.

Right now, police are still searching for the hit and run driver. They say he was driving a black GMC van.
