Utica woman accused of stabbing boyfriend

UTICA -- A Utica woman is accused of stabbing her boyfriend.

Police say just before 6:30 pm Friday, police responded to 608 Mohawk Street. 53-year-old Sherrie Wyman was arrested and charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Police say she stabbed her boyfriend in the throat with a kitchen knife. The victim was taken to the hospital. His condition is not known at this time.
