SELENCE FALLS -- A Lyons man was arrested Sunday following a domestic dispute in Seneca Falls.

Seneca Falls Police Department says Christopher J. Freeman, 24, was arrested for criminal trespassing, endangering the welfare of a child and harassment.

Freeman is accused of entering a home and attacking the female resident, causing her to sustain minor cuts and scrapes.

Police say two children, ages 4-months-old and 8-years-old, were present. The children were unharmed.

According to police, Freeman became belligerent and unruly during his arraignment in Town of Seneca Falls Court. Freeman was then charged with Contempt of Court and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for 30 days.

Freeman was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $5000 cash bail or $10000 bonds on the other charges and is expected to reappear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court later this month.
