SENECA CO. -- State police say a Farmington man was caught on surveillance cameras stealing a container used for collecting donations for a camp.

Police say 31-year-old Gregory Hubbard, of 6216 Brownsville Road, stole the plastic container with about $50 in cash from the Tim Horton's in the Seneca Service Area on the Thruway on January 10.

The container was used to collect donations to a camp sponsored by Tim Horton's.

Hubbard is charged with one count of petit larceny. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Victor Court on January 26.
