WEST TURIN -- A Lyons Falls man is killed in a deadly crash.

It happened around 6:48 a.m. Thursday on ST-12D in the Town of West Turin.

State police say 64-year-old Charles Burdick was driving a 2000 Oldsmobile when he went off the side of the road, slamming into a guide rail and then a ditch, forcing the vehicle to flip over. It came to rest on the driver's side and Burdick was partially ejected through the driver's side window. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation and anyone who may have witnessed it is asked to contact the State Police (315) 376-6241.
