VERONA, ONEIDA CO. -- A Syracuse woman is charged with grand larceny in a purse snatching at the Kelly Clarkson concert at Turning Stone Casino. 

Oneida County Sheriff's deputies say 39-year-old Marguarette Michel, of Brookline Road, spotted the purse under a chair in the row in front of her, the picked it up and took off. They says she removed the money and credit cards and threw away the purse.

Michel was arraigned in New York Mills Village Court and sent to the Oneida County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 bail.
