CONSTANTIA, OSWEGO CO. -- A Central Square man is accused of driving drunk and crashing into a utility pole.

Oswego County Sheriff's deputies say 26-year-old Mathew Laboeuf, of 452 County Route 84, was drunk behind the wheel on SR 49 in the Town of Constantia on January 20. Deputies say he lost control of his 1984 Buick as he was passing another car, slamming into guardrail before going airborne and crashing into a utility pole.

Leboeuf was taken to Upstate Medical Center. He is charged with drunk driving, criminal mischief, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to keep right. He was arraigned in Hastings Town Court and sent to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond. He is due back in court on January 30.
