LOWVILLE, LEWIS CO. -- A Lewis County sex offender is accused of failing to tell authorities he had an internet account.

Lewis County Sheriff's deputies say 31-year-old Anthony Pignone was using an online account and a Facebook page under the name of Anthony Campany and failed to notify authorities about the accounts.

Pignone is charge with failing to register internet accounts, a felony.

He is expected to appear in the Village of Lowville Court at a later date.
