SYRACUSE -- Two Onondaga County Sheriff's Deputies are charged with one count of computer trespass, a felony, after being accused of compromising a jury.

The Onondaga County District Attorney's says Deputy Thomas Carver and Deputy Benjamin St. Andrew were arrested on January 25.

Investigators say the deputies gave a defendant in a recent case, Stanley Lostumbo, information about jurors on the case. Prosecutors say Lostumbo was sentenced to five to ten years in prison for criminal mischief and reckless endangerment for allegedly stealing a dump truck, leading police on a chase, and even driving the truck straight at officers.

Deputy Caver and Deputy St. Andrew asked the court to enter a not guilty plea for both.

They were both released on their own recognizance and are expected back in court on February 14th at 10:00am.

The deputies did not comment at this time.
