MARCELLUS -- A woman who was critically injured in a car crash in Marcellus last month passed away Saturday from her injuries. That's according to Onondaga County Sheriff Kevin Walsh.

54-year-old Cynthia Reynolds of Syracuse was involved in a crash on Lee Mulroy Road on January 22nd. On the morning of the accident, Reynolds was driving a Toyota Highlander south and tried to make a left turn into the Ultimate Goal Family Sports Center. Authorities say she drove into the path of a car heading north.

Reynold was air lifted to Upstate University Hospital. The driver of the other car is still in the hospital recovering from his injuries which authorities say are non-life threatening. Two passengers that were in his car when the accident happened have been treated and released from the hospital.

No tickets are expected to be issued. Deputies say the investigation reveals that Reynolds appeared to be at fault for failure to yield the right of way.
