Fire that destroyed Elbridge home ruled accidental

ELBRIDGE -- A fire that left an Elbridge family homeless has been ruled accidental.

Firefighters say the preliminary report by investigators shows the fire was accidental but they still don't know how it started.

The fire broke out at a home on Foster Road around 5 p.m. Friday. No one was home when the fire started, the house was destroyed.
