Arrests not end of investigations
Two separate incidents of car break-ins are under investigation this Sunday, with the law enforcers asking more residents to check and see if they were victimized, too.
In Ithaca, 22 year old Keith Dellorusso, was caught going thru cars in the Lake Avenue area, about 6am this morning. Neighbors called police to report the break-ins, and Dellorusso, who's from Ithaca, was reportedly inside a vehicle, tried to run. but was arrested by Ithaca Police. They are now asking people in the area to report if they were also targets of car break-ins. Ithaca Police can be reached at (607) 272-3245.
In Oneida County, Sheriff's Deputies are investigating several motor vehicle break-ins late Friday night and early Saturday morning in the Taberg area.
Three men were arrested late Saturday afternoon: Damien Sands, 24, Richard Tennant, Jr., 18, and Truman Tennant, also 18, all from the Taberg-Florence Road in Taberg. Investigators say more charges are pending.
Sheriff's deputies say most of the stolen property has been recovered and returned, but they're still looking to talk to vehicle owners along the Taberg-Florence Road in Annsville and Camden, Willson Road West, Skinner Settlement Road and Dingle Road in the Town of Camden to see if there are more break ins or if people are still missing property.
