GRANBY, OSWEGO CO. -- An Oswego man is charged with driving drunk, flipping his car and slamming into a tree.

It happened in Granby Saturday just before 5 a.m. Oswego County Sheriff's deputies say 20-year-old Benjamin Becker, of 1800 CR 8, was driving a 1998 Chevrolet pickup truck westbound on Stoney Robby Road when he lost control near SR 48. Deputies say the car flew off the road, slamming into a snow bank before flipping over and smacking into a tree.

He is charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated and unregistered motor vehicle.

Becker is scheduled in Granby Town Court on February 13.
