SYRACUSE -- A Syracuse woman was ticketed for leaving the scene of a property damage accident Thursday morning.

It happened around 6:18 a.m. in the 1000 block of Townsend Street near East Adams in Syracuse.

Police say they located a 1998 Chevy Lumina which had been struck by another vehicle. After checking the surrounding area, police located a 2000 Buick Park Avenue on Tyler Court, which had damage consistent with the Chevy Lumina's.

Police located the driver and car owner, Jermisha Brown, 25, at 1113 South Townsend Road. Brown admitted to police that he was operating the truck at the time of the crash.

Brown was ticketed for leaving the scene of a property damage accident, failure to maintain lane, and driving out of restriction for driving unsupervised with a permit.
