SYRACUSE -- It's the dream that'll now cost you $2 -- but for many, it's well worth the investment.

The Powerball jackpot has soared to $325 million and has people across the country in a frenzy.  New York is one of 44 states participating in the game.

At Rocky's News Stand on North Salina Street in Syracuse, folks have been buying tickets all day hoping to hit it big.

The odds of winning aren't in your favor.  At 1 in 175 million, there's a better chance of you being hit by lightning or dying in a vending machine accident.

But that hasn't stopped people from dreaming.

Many people told CNY Central they'd take a vacation, buy a car or even an island if they took home tonight's top prize.

Did you you have a Powerball ticket?  What would you do with the money?
