SYRACUSE -- Syracuse Police have released the name of the driver involved in a one-car rollover crash on I-81 Southbound just south of the Harrison St. exit.

The crash happened at about 6:54am Tuesday morning.

Police say 67-year-old Charles Williams, of Syracuse, was driving a 1990 Ford Taurus when he lost control, slamming into the center median and flipping over on 81 South. He was transported to Upstate University Hospital with a minor injury.

Both lanes were closed for about half an hour. Lanes were reopened by 7:45 a.m.

Williams was ticketed for imprudent speed and will appear in Syracuse Traffic Court at a later date.
