Police cancel alert for missing Canandaigua man

CANANDAIGUA -- Police have cancelled the alert for a missing man in Canandaigua.

They issued the alert on Monday for 64-year-old Harvey Walters.

Police say he is paranoid schizophrenic and an insulin dependent diabetic with other life-threatening medical conditions. Police were concerned that Walters may have be confused and in need of medical attention.

Again, authorities have since cancelled the alert for him.
