AUBURN -- Auburn police need your help tracking down the man who broke into a home.
It happened Thursday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. at a home along the 100 block of Garrow St. Extension.
Police say the man broke into the home and ransacked it, apparently looking for valuables. He then took off on foot with jewelry and computer equipment.
The last known sighting of a possible suspect was in the Melone Village Apartments courtyard area around 9:55 a.m.
Police say the suspect may be a white male, 6'-6'1 inches tall with a medium build and brown hair. He was wearing a blue hooded jacket and blue jeans at the time and was last seen carrying a maroon/burgundy pillowcase.
