VOLNEY, OSWEGO CO. -- A Liverpool woman is accused of driving drunk and having a blood alcohol content twice the legal limit.

State police pulled over 57-year-old Karen Komarnicki, of 8266 Honeysuckle Drive, around 12:25 a.m. on February 22. Police say she was driving erratically in a dark colored SUV northbound on State Route 481 in the Town of Volney. Police say her blood alcohol content was .18 percent, twice the legal limit.

Police say Komarnicki also had several controlled substances with no prescription for them. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Komarnicki was issued appearance tickets to appear in the Town of Volney Court on March 12.
