ROCHESTER (AP) -- Divers are searching the Genesee River where authorities believe two brothers may have fallen through a gap on a highway bridge while retrieving a car.

State police say Daniel King drove his brothers, 54-year-old David and 46-year-old Michael to the spot on Interstate 390 in Rochester where David had a minor accident. Daniel King last saw his brothers jumping over concrete barriers to get to David's car on the opposite span at about 9 p.m. on Feb. 19.

The Batavia men haven't been seen since. Relatives reported them missing on Feb. 21.

Troopers say the spot where the brothers jumped is 100 feet above the river and the gap is 12 to 15 feet wide.

After air and ground searches Sunday, airboat and scuba teams are searching the river Tuesday.
