SYRACUSE -- The remaining five Hancock drone resisters were sentenced in Dewitt Town Court Wednesday afternoon.

They were sentenced to pay $250 in fines and a $125 state surcharge, according to The Post-Standard.

38 protesters were arrested last April while participating in a demonstration against the operation of Reaper drone aircraft from the Hancock Air National Guard Base. They were all charged with disorderly conduct for blocking the entrance to the facility.

The group is known as the Upstate Coalition to Ground the Drones and End the Wars and calls itself the Hancock 38.

Many of them were sentenced back in December and ordered to pay fines or do community service.
