Oneida Indian Nation Police are offering an award of $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for a fire on Patrick Road on February 14.
Police say no one was injured in the fire but it caused heavy damage to a vacant home owned by the Oneida Nation.
Police Chief Smith said, “Emergency personnel from five fire departments and three police agencies risked their lives responding to a fire at an unoccupied residence that they didn’t know was unoccupied at the time.”
The cause of the fire is still under investigation but it has been labeled as suspicious by fire officials.
Anyone with information can call the Oneida Indian Nation Police Department at (315) 829-8100 or the Oneida County Sheriff’s Department at (315) 736-0141. All calls will be treated confidentially.
The $2,500 reward is contingent upon information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the February 14 Patrick Road fire.
