Four separate crashes cause back-ups on Interstate 690 in Syracuse

SYRACUSE -- Syracuse police are investigating four crashes that happened on a busy highway this morning.

They happened on Interstate 690 eastbound between Teall Avenue and the I-81 interchange in both directions.

According to Sgt. Gary Bulinski, the crashes were not related. In one of the crashes, a passenger suffered cuts to the face and was transported to the hospital as a precaution.
