DOLGEVILLE -- A Dolgeville man is facing child pornography charges.
32-year-old Nathan Brown is charged with producing and possessing child pornography. Federal prosecutors say Brown produced the images between January 1, 2010 and February 8, 2012. He is also accused of knowingly possessing the images. "This arrest sends a strong message to anyone who would even consider exploiting children in this manner," said Nick DiNicola, assistant special agent. "People who create and possess child pornography are putting our children at risk."
If convicted of producing child porn, Brown faces 15 to 30 years in prison and a fine of $250,000. If convicted of knowingly possessing the images, he faces a maximum of 10 years in prison and the fine. He is due back in court on Wednesday.
