SCHROEPPEL, OSWEGO CO. -- A Phoenix man is charged with arson in a fire in the Town of Schroeppel last year.

Oswego County Sheriff's deputies say 22-year-old Michael Hubbard, of 55 Spring Street, started the fire near a workbench inside a building. It stems from a domestic incident in December 2010 in Schroeppel. Deputies say Hubbard entered the garage illegally, starting the flames which damaged the building and its contents.

Hubbard is charged with arson, criminal mischief and burglary. He was arraigned in the Town of Schroeppel Court and sent to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond. He is due back in court on March 21.
