CAYUGA COUNTY -- Investigators in Cayuga County say they're trying to find out who is responsible for seven cases of arson. They say it appears the fires were set at the edge of the road before they spread.
The fires were set on Monday in the towns of Moravia, Locke, and Summerhill. At this time, investigators say they don't know how the fires started, and they have no suspect at this time.
They're asking anyone with information to call the Cayuga County Sheriff's Department at (315) 253-3545.
Investigators say they are also working with the Tompkins County Sheriff's Department, which is also investigating cases of arson that happened last week. They believe the events may be related.
