SYRACUSE -- State fair officials are announcing the first act coming to the Great New York State Fair this year.
Multi-Platinum country rocker Jason Aldean will bring his "My Kinda Party Tour" to the Grandstand. Luke Bryan, winner of the Top New Solo Vocalist and Top New Artist at the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2010, will open the show.
The concert will start at 7:30 pm on Friday, Aug. 31 at the State Fair Grandstand. Ticket prices are $65, $55 or $45, and will include admission to the Fairgrounds if purchased prior to the date of the concert. Tickets are expected to go on sale on Saturday, May 19, 2012.
The 2012 Fair will run from Aug. 23 to Sept. 3.
