HANNIBAL, OSWEGO CO. -- A Fulton man is accused of sexually abusing a child.

State police say 42-year-old Joseph Thompson, of 89 County Lane, fondled a girl under the age of 12 several times over the past few months. The incidents allegedly happened at his home.

Thompson is charged with sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.

He was arraigned in Hannibal Town Court and sent to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash bail or $3,000 bond. He's scheduled to be back in court on April 17.
