SYRACUSE -- Syracuse Police have identified the man killed in a shooting Friday.
Investigators say Chance Gathers, 33, of Syracuse, was standing in front of 157 Kenmore Avenue around 3:30 Friday afternoon, when a man approached him and fired several shots from a handgun.
The suspect, described as a black male wearing dark clothing, then ran away.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Syracuse Police at 442-5222.
