SYRACUSE -- An SUV crashed into a Syracuse home Tuesday morning around 8:50am.

It happened at 112 Mayar Street near Grant Boulevard on Syracuse's Northside.

The driver, 66-year-old Manuel Coilpillai, reportedly tried to hit the brakes and hit the gas instead and crashed into the house with a 2006 Toyota Suburban.

The crash caused substantial damage to the front poarch of the home.

There was no one else in the car with Coilpillai and no injuries were reported.
