SYRACUSE -- Syracuse Police are investigating an armed robbery near the location of The Post-Standard.
It happened Thursday around 8 p.m. at the intersection of North Salina Street and Herald Place.
A 53-year-old man was walking when he was approached by a man riding a small bicycle, according to police. The suspect got off the bike, pushed the victim, and demanded money.
The victim said he then felt what he thinks was a gun pressed into his back, but no gun was actually displayed, according to police.
The suspect made off with a $100 bill. The victim was not hurt.
The suspect is described as a black man, 5'10" tall with a thin build, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. He was last seen riding on the bicycle going north on North Salina Street.
