Some good news for people traveling through downtown Syracuse, all lanes have reopened on Interstate 690.
On Friday afternoon an eastbound lane and two ramps were closed after a piece of the bridge going over Willow Street, fell to the ground.
It took the Department of Transportation about six hours to repair the problem.
There has been concern about the downtown bridges in Syracuse, as engineers say all of the bridges along interstate 81 and 690 are reaching the end of their lifespan.
A similar incident happened last June, but that hole took two weeks to repair.
