Watching comedy even improves blood flow
Being upbeat and laughing will help your heart's health--and we have the studies that say so.

And, anger may also predict long term mortality in patients with cardiac issues. Conversely, laughter and therapy could go a long way for the heart, according to studies lead by Dr. Michael Miller of the University of Maryland Medical School in Baltimore. People who watched distressing movies their blood vessels constricted, reducing blood flow by a third. Comedy increased blood flow by 20%.
Dr. Richard O'Neill, psychologist at SUNY Upstate, says the bottom line...for April Fool's Day (Sunday) is that good natured fun can teach us about not taking ourselves so seriously, and having a good time through life's ups and downs.
