Many area civic groups hold special breakfasts

Not for profits do pancake fundraiser breakfasts year-round, but at this time of year many invite a special guest: the Easter Bunny.
We caught up with EB at the Mattydale Fire Department's Palm Sunday breakfast, where children were clearly enthralled by the special visitor.
Even charity breakfasts that didn't have the special guests, like the Lions' pancake breakfast at the Eastwood American Legion, say they get bigger numbers on special Sundays. More people go to church, and they, right across from Blessed Sacrament, and not far from several other big churches, got a big push of breakfast goers as mass finished.
