SYRACUSE -- Deraux Branch, owner of Branch's Driving School in Syracuse, says the most important thing you can do when confronted by an aggressive driver is to stay calm and avoid antagonizing the other driver.

"Get to a public area. We definitely don't recommend pulling over on the side of the road and stopping because you don't know what the other person has in terms of a weapon. We want you to keep the car moving and try and let them pass," Deraux says.

Deraux says being courteous to other drivers at all times is the best way to avoid a road rage incident.
