SYRACUSE -- Students from Cicero-North Syracuse brought home an award from the Shell Eco Marathon competition in Texas last week.
C-NS students from the school's engineering technology class designed a car that runs on runs on Hydrogen Fuel Cells.
The car won first place in the Prototype Fuel Cell category with a best run of 44.6 mi/kWh (169 mpg equivalent).
