HANNIBAL, OSWEGO CO. -- A traffic stop led to the arrest of a Fulton man who is accused of growing marijuana.

Oswego County Sheriff's deputies pulled over 26-year-old Jason Puma, of 488 Red School House Road, just after 2 p.m. Monday on CR 7 and SR 3 in Hannibal. Deputies searched his car and say they found marijuana and drug contraband. They executed a search warrant at his home and say they found two marijuana plants along with drug paraphernalia and a handgun.

Puma is charged with unlawful growing of cannabis, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of marijuana and crossing hazardous road markings.
