DEWITT -- The owner of a Dewitt jewelry store is fighting back against the three thieves who broke into his shop.

Tom Marini, owner of Jewelry on James, says that the robbers broke through the front window of his store at 4:30a.m. on March 28th.

Within only 2 minutes, they made off with about $5,000 worth of jewelry.

Marini says he wants to help the Dewitt and Syracuse police to arrest the thieves, so he's offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to their arrests.

"I want them brought to justice. I want them to stop. What they took from me is gone, I have no problem with that. I don't want them to victimize someone else," said Marini.

Marini says $500 of the reward money will be given to the individual who provides the information. He says he will donate the other $500 to the Wounded Warrior Project.
