BREWERTON -- Two people faced a judge Monday morning for breaking into a Brewerton home and stealing several items.

28-year-old Nicole Cummings and 23-year-old James Gray appeared in Onondaga County Court for sentencing. They both pleaded guilty in connection with a break-in at a home in Brewerton. Investigators say the two stole jewelry and two .22 caliber rifles, which they sold for drugs. Detectives later found the guns at a Syracuse home on Hillsdale Avenue.

Cummings will spend the next one to three years in jail. Gray was sentenced to time served. He will also spend five years on probation and must pay restitution to the victims.
