UTICA -- A Utica woman is accused of threatening a taxi cab driver with a box cutter.

25-year-old Nakita Rodriguez, of Jay Street, is facing several charges.

Police say the cab driver told them Rodriguez was having a loud fight with someone on her cell phone. When the driver asked her to keep down the noise, police say Rodriguez pulled a box cutter from her bra and told the cab driver "I don't fight, I cut people."

Police say Rodriguez kept arguing with the cab driver, swinging the box cutter at the victim's head.

Rodriguez is charged with criminal possession of a weapon, menacing and unlawful possession of marijuana.
