Indictment in brutal beating of puppy

SYRACUSE -- A Syracuse man accused of brutally beating a 10 week old puppy has been indicted.

Charles Robinson, Jr., of Polk Street, is charged with aggravated animal cruelty. Syracuse Police say he choked and punched a pit bull puppy named Abby.

The dog had internal bleeding, fluid in her lungs, and blood in her urine.

Aggravated animal cruelty is a felony.
