Auburn Police have arrested a woman on attempted assault charges, on reports that she tried to smother a young child with a pillow.

Investigators were called to 52 Nelson Street about 8:15 Friday night, and found a two year old, her three year old sister, their biological father, and the suspect.   31 year old Nicole Fallat was charged with attempted assault, after investigators say she tried to smother the two year old with a pillow, and may have also assaulted the three year old.  Both children were taken to Auburn Community Hospital, treated and released.

Auburn Police say more charges may be pending against Fallat, and they ask anyone with more information to get back at 258-9880.
