CNY SPCA's fundraiser to support animal cruelty investigators needs your help.
The CNY SPCA is fundraising this April---Animal Cruelty Awareness Month--to support its cruelty investigators, the only law enforcers who look into animal cruelty cases in Onondaga County.
Former County Exec Nick Pirro, who is on the SPCA Board, visited on Weekend Today in CNY on Saturday morning to update the campaign: they still need 'Captains' to sign up on the SPCA website, and then recruit 'crew' to help with the fundraising.
Just a few dollars from each contributor would add up!
And, check the previous story, with Pirro and Princess, the pit bull found starved and abused (look at her now that she's in a loving home!)....it will also give you an idea of how much anti-cruelty work is already done in the community.
