OSWEGO -- An Oswego teen racked up a list of charges after stealing guns, bikes, electronics and other items from four homes and a car in Oswego.
Police arrested 16-year-old Gregory Rhinehart on Thursday for allegedly breaking into an Oswego home and stealing guns, a laptop, and personal papers back in March.
At the same time, police say they arrested Rhinehart for a number of other crimes including breaking into a separate home in Oswego and stealing two road bikes on April 6.
Rhinehart was also charged for breaking into another residence and vehicle in Oswego on April 6 where he allegedly stole video games, clothing, and other electronics.
Police charged Rhinehart for breaking into a third Oswego residence on April 9 where he allegedly stole sports equipment, electronics, and food.
During the investigation, police found that Rhinehart was in possession of a rifle with a scope and charged him with criminal possession of a weapon.
For the five separate incidents, police charged Rhinehart with three counts of second degree burglary, one count of third degree burglary, two counts of fourth degree grand larceny, and one count each of petit larceny, criminal mischief, and criminal possession of a weapon.
Rhinehart was arraigned in the Town of Scriba and remanded to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Oswego Court on April 23rd.
