BALDWINSVILLE -- The Baldwinsville Fire Department is investigating the cause of a brush fire.
It happened at about 6:30 Friday evening off of East Oneida Street, near the CSX railroad line. It took fire crews about an hour and a half to get the flames under control.
Fire officials tell us it was a challenge getting to the fire because it was far off the road in a wooded area. ATVs were used to bring firefighters back and forth from the blaze.
Crews were also dealing with unseasonably warm temperatures.
At least 8 area fire departments responded.
