Shred-o-Rama does a Spring edition
Alliance Bank Stadium's parking lot will host a spring version of Shred-o-Rama next Saturday
Now that you've cleaned electronics out of your house, it's time to get rid of old personal papers.
OCRRA, Onondaga County's Recycling Agency, is doing a spring edition of its Shred-o-Rama at Alliance Bank Stadium, next Saturday (May 5th) 8am - Noon. Use the Grant Boulevard (off Hiawatha Boulevard) entrance.
Personal papers only, please, no businesses! Recycling specialist David Nettle says each car can drop off up to five banker box sized containers (like the boxes that copy paper comes in), or you can drop off papers in paper grocery bags (no plastic!). If your papers have clips or staples, they'll be accepted. Nettle says it's a way of getting rid of papers with personal information, like old bank and credit card statements, or old forms.
