SYRACUSE -- Education activists are calling for action.
They're rallying in downtown Syracuse Friday night near the State Office Building to protest against education cuts.
The rally comes just days before taxpayers will vote on school budgets across central New York. It's all in support of the state's public schools that they say have been undermined and devastated by consecutive years of budget cuts.
